Scouting is important to me because it has shaped who I am through service, adventure, and personal growth. Volunteering at monthly veteran dinners and helping at community events like the corn tent at Lake Forest Days have taught me the value of giving back and connecting with others. Honoring those who served by decorating wreaths for Fallen Heroes deepened my sense of respect and gratitude. Through challenging experiences like hiking the Appalachian Trail and kayaking around the Apostle Islands, I’ve built resilience, leadership, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Scouting has given me the skills and confidence to make a difference in my community and beyond. Thank you for supporting Troop 48!
